主講人介紹：劉兆理，曾任山東大學數學學院教授，現任首都師范大學數學科學學院教授，從事非線性分析方向的研究，發展了下降流不變集方法，在非線性橢圓型方程解的存在性方面獲得多項有意義的研究成果。曾獲得國家杰出青年科學基金、4項省部級科研一等獎和二等獎、北京市首批高層次人才稱號、首都勞動獎章、北京市優秀博士學位論文指導教師稱號。目前擔任國內外6個數學期刊的編委。

內容介紹：In this presentation, I will discuss recent advances in determining the number of positive solutions for a particular elliptic system. This system arises naturally in several important physical models, including Bose-Einstein condensate theory and nonlinear optics. Our findings reveal several interesting phenomena: the existence of multiple positive solutions in certain parameter regimes, precise solution counts in specific cases, and the monotonic dependence of solution numbers on system parameters across different regions. This is joint work with Yongtao Jing, Fanqin Liu, Haidong Liu, Yanyan Liu, Juncheng Wei, Zhangjian Yan.
